I was pretty confident I got the new one out in place properly, but when I engaged the blades the belt slipped off the “power Wheel” (its the pulley/wheel that’s attached to the engine) and now has a gash in it. I’ve search forms and John Deere’s website but I can’t seem to get a decent diagram or picture of how it should be routed. I'm a new home owner with a half acre of land. Growing up, I only used push mowers. Anyway, I've done my research and I really like the E100 (about $2000 new with a bagger) but I saw a D105 go on sale on Craigslist($1650 like new with a bagger). I'm wondering which is the better buy?
