I don't have a picture, but I have a 460/c6 in my 67. I used the same linkage that was on my old FE/c6 setup. I don't remember for sure, but I think I had to use the bell crank that was on the 429/460. I used a Lockar setup for the kickdown. IF the Tbird had a floor shift then the shift tab on the transmission is 180 degrees off. Currently working on the Holley Truck Avenger carb on my 460 in the 84 Bronco after replacing the blown-up 351W. The accelerator linkage has two arms, one going up to that connects to the carb,and the kick down cable arm which faces downwards, close to the bell housing. That is the arm that this kick down cable attaches to (which is why I couldn't see it in any of my hundreds of pictures). The other end of this cable connects to the tranny. As several people have pointed out, this was an issue with Ford C6 automatics. The underlying problem is with use/abuse, the pawl that engages the gear internally in the trans (and locks it into park) gets worn and doesn't properly engage. Careful linkage adjustment is critical, as is using the parking brake.

i am unsure on what you are saying. but i looked at the picture of your carb and it doesnt have the proper lever on the carb to hook up the kick down rod. your carb is a manaul transmission carb. and once the kickdown rod is put onto the levers . yes there is a E clips that holds it on to both ends of the rod. well i think you know that from what you posted.
