I have the v8 2006 grand prix and I’m fixing all its issues and now i just have the really difficult ones, i found a fix for my bouncing speedometer that shifts the transmission i mentioned but it developed a new issue, i can’t tell what triggers it but when driving my rpms will just drop on the highway and i lose acceleration, if i let off the gas then reapply the gas it will keep going but loses power until i rein-gage the gas pedal, what is this?? I changed the alternator, fuel pump, battery, starter, got an oil change, and tune-up, changed the crankshaft position sensor, and that is about it. The car has power now when i put the key into the ignition but the car still cranks and does not start. Any suggestions?

I was working on my Pontiac Grand Prix (supercharged series 3 3800 engine) and was installing a cold air intake, so I took off the battery terminals, let it sit for about half an hour, then removed the PCM module, no sparks flew at all or anything, hooked up my cold air intake, plugged back in the PCM (all in the right spots I took a picture before to be sure) and then I rehooked up my battery, no crank, no start, no power, no any signs of life, disconnected the battery, cleaned off all the batt...
