Jul 31, 2008 · I have a 1987 F250 Ford Diesel 6.9. My FUEL TANK SELECTOR VALVE is DOA as best as I can figure. I bought an FTSV from a 1984 F250 before I found out the part numbers were different. I also tried the plug before before I swapped the valve and found out they were different. The number for the 1984 FTSV is E3TZ1989C.
